Matchmaking has a long and storied history across many cultures and countries.
But according to Gail Case, matchmaking is almost always the bread - but with little if any butter.
She wants to change that for South Floridians in launching a new South 'Florida matchmaking service that she calls, "Destiny."
She describes Destiny as "upscale personal matchmaking service, and with a concept that stands out among the rest."
That's the bread - and butter, part.
Beyond creating a plan for "bringing people together for a meaningful relationship," Case said she has put together "a team of experts and highly skilled professionals, including long-term resident Sheryl Bress - to take it to a much higher level."
Added to the matchmaking service itself, Case said, will be "a host of concierge services geared towards helping singles improve relationship skills and renew or instill confidence."
"Destiny will offer such services (for an additional fee) as techniques for a more youthful and attractive appearance, learning how to dress, how to apply make-up, styling to be self-confident, love & relationship coaching etc, Case said.
Case said that 'after listening to endless horror stories from Florida singles, regarding on-line dating, bar scene dating and video match dating services, she decided "to fill the void that is being felt by so many local singles."
"I and my associate Sheryl Bress, will do an extensive personal interview with each and every client," Cash said. "We will find out as much about them as possible, as well as get a feel for whom they are looking for."
"With this information, we will match single men and women who have similar backgrounds and interests and who best suit the criteria of our clients," Case said. "Along with our concierge services, including our image advisors and consultants, we will have available all the support systems necessary to boost confidence and enhance relationships."
Destiny will also provide services such as planning a romantic evening, weekend or vacation, Case said.
The proprietary system that Destiny will use was exclusively designed and developed by a successful matchmaking company in Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas. Destiny is now a network affiliates with current access to over 700 singles in the South Florida region, Case said.
Destiny's target market is 35 yrs. + singles from Jupiter to S. Miami, Case said. The prices will be reasonable, she said, and with concierge services varying according to the service requested.
"The program is meant to be a full service organization, which will not only improve one's chances to find that special someone, but will help to greatly improve their chances of having a long and lasting love relationship."
