On Tuesday, dozens of Nashville singles will take part in a nationwide effort to break the world record in speed dating. The sold-out party will be held Tuesday night at 6:45 p.m. at the Green Hills Grille in Cool Springs .

Couples will have six minutes to get to know each other. After each six minute date, couples mark their scorecards with a "yes" or "no," noting whom they would like to hear from again.

Participants are sent results within 24 hours, with each person receiving a list of potential suitors.
